The Feedback, Behaviour, Investigation and Assistive Technology Team at the Department of Defence is a finalist for the Inclusion in Public Sector Employment award at the 2019 ACT Chief Minister’s Inclusion Awards!
Over the past 12-18 months, the Feedback, Behaviour, Investigations and Assistive Technology Team of the Directorate of Customer Experience within the Department of Defence has worked to ensure the needs of employees with disability and all assistive technology users are considered.
The team increases awareness and understanding of the available assistive technology and ensures that current products are tested and made available in the Department, allowing for increased choice so that employees can have access to appropriate equipment to work productively. The customer is at the centre of the team ethos. When individuals raise issues, feedback, or make complaints, they feel valued and heard.
