Floriade 2020: Reimagined
Floriade is Australia’s biggest celebration of spring but in 2020 it will blossom a little differently.
Saturday 12 September 2020 - Sunday 11 October 2020
Chief Minister Andrew Barr announced on 29 April 2020, our nation’s favourite flower festival is adapting to the Covid-19 landscape.
Floriade: Reimagined will see Floriade and NightFest realigned to a new format to ensure adherence to public health restrictions around mass gatherings and physical distancing.
Flowers which would have bloomed in Commonwealth Park will be distributed around Canberra so locals can enjoy the vibrancy of Floriade closer to home.
