Priority access to home delivery services for NDIS participants

On 6 April 2020, the National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA), announced priority access to home delivery services for National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) participants. The NDIA advise they have been working with supermarket retailers to make sure NDIS participants requiring support to shop for groceries, have priority access to home delivery services. This means NDIS participants will now be able to purchase grocery items online to be delivered to their home. The NDIA will send all participants a unique home delivery access code by SMS or email, which can be used at participating supermarkets, wherever they offer home delivery services.

Participating supermarkets include:

  • Woolworths;
  • Coles;
  • IGA and Foodland IGA;
  • Foodworks; and
  • Harris Farm.
