Jeremy Barralet - Finalist for the 2019 Chief Minister's Inclusion Awards
Jeremy Barralet is a finalist for Emerging Young Leader at the ACT Chief Minister’s Inclusion Awards!
Jeremy is an enthusiastic and highly valued student at Black Mountain School. He is involved in all aspects of school life. He demonstrates leadership throughout the school in his attitude and commitment towards achieving his school and post school goals; and in his encouragement, mentoring and support of fellow students.
Jeremy is a respectful and supportive team member of the Student Representative Council. In this role, he seeks to find areas of need for students within the school and advocates on behalf of the student body to the school board for these needs to be addressed.
He has a strong passion for caring for and supporting people with disability, and is a participant of the school Community Based Integration Program. He is a role model to other students in the school who are working towards independence in the community.
