Bunnings Warehouse Australia at Majura Park and at Belconnen treat staff members with disability equally and give them meaningful jobs, recognising their strengths in horticultural knowledge. These workplaces provide support through ongoing training and assisting employees with disability to reach their full potential.
Bunnings Warehouse were nominated for placing great importance on working with the community and creating supportive and inclusive work environments - recognising that some employees prefer routine, and therefore allocating them a regular day and time for work, rather than placing them on a rotating shift. These employees, placed through LEAD, are proud to be part of the Bunnings team, extremely motivated to do their best in the workplace and look forward to attending work each week.
