Disability Inclusion Grants provide one off funding of up to $20,000 to support Canberra community organisations and businesses to enhance the inclusion of people with disability.

The Grants are designed to create opportunities for people with disability to better access services and supports, businesses, and groups in our community.

The Grants can be used for a project or initiative that address attitudinal, communication, and physical barriers to access and inclusion. Grants can be submitted to cover the cost of the project in full or in part.

Grants can be used to:
• purchase disability awareness training for staff
• The development of a Disability Access and Inclusion Plan
• Infrastructure modifications to improve the accessibility of your premises or facilities (for example, installation of ramps, widening or automation of doors)


To submit an application:
- Read the 2022-2023 Disability Inclusion Grants Guidelines, which outline the eligibility criteria in more detail at: https://www.communityservices.act.gov.au/disability_act/grants/2022-23-Disability-Inclusion-Grant-Guidelines; and
- Submit an application online from the 2022-2023 Disability Inclusion Grant Smartygrants webpage at: https://dhcs.smartygrants.com.au/2223DIG.

Applications have been extended until 5pm, Tuesday 14 March 2023.
