The ACT Disability Strategy consultation is now well underway to shape the future 10-year ACT Disability Strategy. This consultation has been co-designed with the ACT Disability Reference Group and all conversations are led by people with disability.

We are keen to hear from people with disability, families, carers, supporters and interested community members on how to create a more inclusive future for all Canberrans.

In the last three weeks we have already heard from many people in the community at a range of face to face events.

We are delighted to be holding the first online forum which may suit people who prefer not to travel and attend sessions in person. Please join us online if you can. We would also be very grateful if you are able to send this information on to your networks.

If next Wednesday does not suit, there are many other ways for people to have their say:
• Complete an online survey
• Attend another public forum or focused conversation
• Hold your own kitchen table conversation with your family, colleagues or group
• Send in a written or video submission.

Consultation on the Disability Strategy is open until 31 July.
