The Practice Leadership Workshops are a series of four stand-alone workshops. Two workshop of the series have been completed:
Training staff effectively and consistently implement behaviour support strategies
How to engage staff teams in reflective practice
The fourth workshop will concern supporting people who are subject to restrictive practices (and their families/decision makers) to be involved in the development of their own strategies. (Workshop dates are yet to be determined.)
Learning objectives for the Practice Leadership Workshops will be linked to the NDIS Commission’s PBS Capability Framework and practitioners will be able to use their attendance at the sessions to provide evidence of their continuing professional development.
