Learning and skills
Universal Design for Learning (UDL) is a teaching framework that promotes educational inclusion. It’s an approach that helps teachers remove barriers to learning by offering flexible ways of teaching. This allows all students access and make progress in learning.

We invited School Inclusion Consultant Loren Swancutt to tell us more about UDL.

In this workshop, Loren
* introduced the UDL framework and its main components
* demonstrated how to implement UDL in the classroom. You’ll see examples of lessons and assessments that are designed for everyone.
* provided tips for parents to work with teachers to apply UDL principles and help their children succeed.
