A reminder to eligible agencies and self-managing NDIS participants the ACT Government is temporarily providing Rapid Antigen Tests (RATs) to support continuity of care for people receiving support from disability and community aged care sector workers.

Due to supply constraints at this time, scheme eligibility is limited to organisations that employ front line workers providing in-home personal care supports and services to people with disability and older Canberrans who have increased vulnerability to the impacts of COVID-19. All services that provide support to people with disability face-to-face are eligible to request RATs, and this includes day programs and respite services.

Supply will also be available to self-managing NDIS participants who use support workers to provide in-home personal care, so they can provide tests to the front line workers they engage.

RATs will be provided in allocations for a one-week period and are limited to five tests, per week, per worker.
