Disability Inclusion Grants (DIGs)

WE MAKE INCLUSION HAPPEN by helping organisations and business to increase access and inclusion of people with disability in Canberra.

The Disability Inclusion Grants are for community groups, not-for-profit organisations and small businesses to make changes to improve access for people with disability.

Grants could include disability awareness training, infrastructure modifications or the purchase of assistive technologies such as hearing loops or other ideas to increase inclusion.

The Disability Inclusion Grants (DIGs) provide funding for local clubs, groups, community organisations and small business to promote social inclusion for people with disability through the removal of barriers to participation.

A total of $100,000 (ex GST) is available in the DIGs funding round, with community organisations and small businesses able to apply for a grant of any amount up to $20,000.00 (GST exclusive).

The grant may cover the cost of the project in full or in part. DIGs are one-off grants and are not intended as a recurring funding source.

Applications for 2022-2023 Grant round have been extended until 5pm on Tuesday 14 March 2023.

The Guidelines and application form are available on the Community Services Directorate website.
