Beyond Bank - Finalist for the 2019 Chief Minister’s Inclusion Awards

Beyond Bank is a finalist for the Excellence in Inclusive Services and Disability Support award at the 2019 ACT Chief Minister’s Inclusion Awards!
In 2019, Beyond Bank undertook a co-design process with people with disability to increase accessibility, inclusiveness and independence.
The new branch in Canberra City was completed with appropriate colouring, adjustable lighting, accessibility for people in a wheelchair, a hearing loop and sound proof meeting room and staff training.
Coverage by RiotACT has raised the profile of universal design in a business environment.
Beyond Bank will be seeking customer feedback over the coming months to then include these design features in all future branches across Australia.
