Sharon Kensell - Finalist for the 2019 Chief Minister's Inclusion Awards

Sharon Kensell is a finalist for the Excellence in Making Inclusion Happen award at the 2019 Chief Minister’s Inclusion Awards. 

Sharon is the Senior Inclusion and Awareness Advisor (previously Training Officer) at Advocacy for Inclusion. She brings to this role the lived experience of being a health care professional, a carer, and a person with disability. 

Sharon's passion lies in the belief of community inclusion and participation, and this carries over into her personal life, where she volunteers for both local and international organisations.

Sharon has been nominated for providing disability, human rights and inclusion training and Supported Decision Making training. Sharon has been instrumental in creating best practice information guides and resource guides for people with a disability that have been recognised nationally.
