Spotlight on Paul Mugambi – 2018 Chief Minister's Inclusion Awards

Paul Mugambi from Kenya, lived in Canberra while studying for a Masters Degree from the Australian National University (ANU). 

He received the Excellence in Making Inclusion Happen Award at the 2018 Chief Minister's Inclusion Awards

Paul hosted a weekly segment, The Ability Show, on Woroni Radio (ANU’s student radio station). His show aimed to educate people in the ANU community by raising awareness and giving students living with disability a platform to discuss their experiences.

Paul was the Committee Secretary of People With Disabilities ACT (PWD ACT).

He is a leader in inclusion and an advocate for better services, uniting his community through his radio program. He has shown commitment through his work in educating the ANU and the wider community on disability issues and services.
