Survey: The experiences of young people with disability

Children and Young People with Disability Australia (CYDA) is a representative organisation which represents children and young people (0 - 25) with disability.

CYDA invites young people with disability to tell them about experiences of pathways for young people with disability after school. CYDA would like to hear the direct experiences from young people with disability 15 years and over or from their families about their post-school transition and experiences after school by completing a short survey.

The survey covers a range of questions including:

  • What support and information was/is available to assist you to think about and plan for your future after school?
  • Did/does your school support you to consider your education and training options after school?

Young people with disability who complete the survey can go in the draw to win one of four $50 gift vouchers.

If you require assistance in completing this survey online CYDA can conduct a phone interview, or you can ask a family member or another person to assist you in completing the survey.

If you are a family member and want to complete this survey about a young person with disability CYDA is keen to hear from you also.
