Katie Costabile - Finalist for the 2019 Chief Minister's Inclusion Awards

Katie Costabile is a finalist for the Inclusion in Public Sector Employment award at the 2019 Chief Minister’s Inclusion Awards!

Katie Costabile, Senior Project Manager, Major Projects Canberra works on a range of commercial infrastructure projects. She has also been supporting the development of an ACT Government Disability Inclusion Program participant within the Infrastructure Delivery Partners Group of Major Projects Canberra.

Thanks to Katie’s leadership, the Group has undertaken an inclusive learning journey, as it had not previously engaged with the Inclusion Program. Her patience with her colleagues and positive support for the program’s participant have helped create a more inclusive work environment and supported the development the program’s participant. She has continually advocated for the participant’s needs within the broader team and ensured that they all contributed when needed. Her individual support and patient workplace advocacy has contributed to developing a more inclusive ACT Public Service.
