Dalane Drexler - Finalist for the 2019 Chief Minister's Inclusion Awards

Dalane Drexler is a finalist for the Life Time Achievement in Supporting People with Disability award at the 2019 ACT Chief Minister’s Inclusion Awards!

Dalane Drexler has spent almost 20 years studying and working in the government and community disability sector. She commenced with Disability ACT as a Support Worker in 2001, while studying. Since then she has worked with ACT Disability, Aged and Carer Advocacy (ADACAS), Advocacy for Inclusion (AFI) and for the past 10 years with ACT Mental Health Consumer Network as its Executive Officer.

Under her guidance the Network has developed all the Network’s statements and policies, including its Workplace Diversity and Inclusion Statement. These polices have resulted in very practical actions to create an inclusive and accommodating workplace for people with disability to participate in paid employment and consumer advocacy.
