Imagine More - Finalist at the 2019 Chief Minister's Inclusion Awards
Imagine More is a finalist for the Excellence in Inclusive Services and Disability Support award at the 2019 ACT Chief Minister’s Inclusion Awards!
Imagine More is a change agency advocacy group with perseverance, integrity and connections whose aim is to strengthen families and enhance communities. The group believes in a strong connected community where people with disability hold socially valued roles, have strong relationships and are constantly exploring what is possible. Imagine More embraces the opportunity to inspire, resource and motivate individuals with a disability and their families to discover better life chances for individuals so that they can live an ordinary life.
In support of their organisational values, they ran a pilot project, Roles Based Recruitment (RBR), funded as part of the Workforce Impact Collective (WIC). Within five months the RBR project resulted in five support workers being employed by the project participants.
