Rehabilitation, Aged and Community (RAC) services

Rehabilitation, Aged and Community (RAC) services provides integrated and effective services for  throughout the ACT, including healthcare and support for people with acute, post-acute and long-term illnesses.

They aim to improve the quality and accessibility of services to clients and promote care that covers the prevention, assessment, diagnosis, treatment, support, rehabilitation and maintenance of conditions. They work closely with other healthcare providers to improve communication between primary, acute, subacute and community healthcare services.

They provide a range of rehabilitation services, including:

  • Occupational Therapy
  • Speech Pathology
  • Specialised Wheelchair and Posture Seating
  • Clinical Technology Workshop – Equipment repairs and modification
  • Vocational Assessment and Rehabilitation Service

Access to these services will now be the same as for other NDIS service providers in the community -  so ensure the supports you need from Rehabilitation, Aged and Community Care Services are listed and covered through your NDIS plan.
